Happy 20th Birthday SharePoint! you are not OLD, you are GOLD!

13 years ago, I met you as a technology solution when I was struggling to iron out Microsoft documents on the Open Framework platform. I have learned what is valuable for businesses and their challenges and how it made operations paperless since then and the rest has been an adventurous and fun time to cherish for a number of reasons – Thank you for constantly being innovative – Many many happy returns of the day, SharePoint!  -You are not limited to technology; the way you have connected people and amazing mindsets, it would have been memorable in everyone’s life who have worked on various areas of Microsoft platforms – Be it the need of document management or content management or collaboration with colleagues.

On your 20th Birthday, I am grateful to you and wishing you a fantastic intelligent, and mobile future ahead. If I have not known you, I would have stayed out of reach to connect awesome people, to connect great community, to comprehend that Technology is not complex, it is there to enable people more productive while businesses ingenious as an ultimate pride to have.

It was great to meet old-new SharePoint friends at SharePoint Birthday Party arranged at Altspace by SharePoint Community – Wow!! sounds like I am getting rid of imposter syndrome… following were the key highlights apart from hearing great SharePoint stories from them:

Powering Microsoft 365 and beyond

The best community in the tech

We are all in the Cloud

The future of SharePoint

When I look back, I feel honored to have an experience – from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010, 2013 and Office 365 with colleagues at work, with customers, with SharePoint Community, and with Microsoft. It was hearty happy tears, when I saw the cake, I have designed out of SharePoint’s birthday excitement shared by the Father of SharePoint, Jeff Teper today during the party (Honestly, A goosebumps moment). I can not be more than thankful, I think today is one of the best days I will cherish in the future, thank you SharePoint Community for all your encouragement, kind words, and being supportive of each other.

Hey, by the way, another way I have celebrated SharePoint Birthday today by drawing the SharePoint logo using Henna on my hand, Here it is!

Looking forward to the next community chapter on Microsoft Technologies! Enjoy SharePoint!
